There's nothing like waking up at 4:00 am and training your camera toward the Taunus Mountains in the east to catch the first rays of sun as it wakens the sleeply little village of Bremthal, Germany (between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt). I lived in this quiet hamlet for about 6 years back in the 1990's and I'm still awestruck with its beauty every time I look at this picture...!
